Project Overview

Led the redesign of the onboarding experience to reduce early drop-off and improve activation during first-time use. The previous onboarding flow introduced the product but lacked clear value communication and structured guidance, leading to friction during account setup. This project focused on clarifying expectations, simplifying steps, and guiding users toward their first meaningful action. Primary success metrics: onboarding completion rate, time-to-first-action, and early retention.

Goals

• Increase onboarding completion rate • Reduce confusion during first-time setup • Capture meaningful preference data for better recommendations

Constraints

• Existing design system and brand guidelines • Cross-platform consistency (iOS & Android) • Tight delivery timeline
